Kris kreations started when aneil, a chemical engineer found creating Indian folk crafts much more interesting than manufacturing chemicals. A chance to travel to the interiors of India, meeting the craftsmen, creating articles of one's own design, brought him and his family a lot of happiness and satisfaction. Recognition came in the form of the firsfret export order in 1990. This is how 'kris(kris-hna, the creator) kreations' got started. Since then the work is steadily growing and the whole family has got involved.
We buy directly from the craft producing families in villages of India. We deal with small hut family workshops who have been making the same sort of folk craft for generations. We give them our designs which are again based on the combined creation of the importer/buyer and us.
Because we keep our overheads low, and work on low margins, we feel, we offer very reasonable prices to our customers. Our goal is to create long standing relationship with our customer based on trust, honesty and hard work.
